What is a bifacial solar module?
Cells of standard solar panels have a polymer and opaque substrate, so they are able to generate electricity with only one (front) side.
Bilateral are arranged differently, due to which the photovoltaic cells are able to catch the reflected sunlight on the back surface. And as a result, their productivity can increase by 25%. To do this, you need to install the battery array on a surface with good reflective ability (for example, sand, light-colored stone, light-colored roofing or snow).
Bifacial solar panels are an innovative solution in the field of solar energy.
